Vision from inside:
Blue Spirit Mask
This mask replica is my interpretation of the Blue Spirit mask from the show Avatar: The Last Airbender. It is cast in impact-resistant resin with the "horns" backfilled in epoxy putty for a flat, solid appearance. It's hand-painted and weathered in acrylics and finished with a satin sealant spray for protection.
Please note that because the masks are painted and finished by hand, there may be slight variations from the piece seen in the photographs.
The eyes, nose, and mouth holes are all cut open for vision and ventilation. They are each covered in a dark mesh material which appears black from the outside but is actually quite easy to see out of. The back of the mask has foam padding in the forehead and each cheek, to give plenty of space and ventilation between the wearer and the mask itself, and to make it quite comfortable to wear.
The straps are made from black poly webbing (similar to nylon backpack straps). There are two adjustable sections, one for the loop around the back of the wearer's head, and one for the top.
This mask is quite large in size so fit shouldn't be an issue for anyone, but if you've got a smaller stature it may look overlarge on you. For reference, I'm 5'10" and have a 23" cranium and it fits me fine and looks proportional. The photo below shows the internal measurements of the mask on a raw cast to be sure it'll be a good fit for you.
