Lizardman Resin Mask Kit - Order Form

Order slots currently available: 4

This order form contains pricing and options for a lizardman resin mask kit. An order may take up to 3 weeks before it is ready to be shipped, depending on my current workload, so please order accordingly.

Aside from the obvious use as a mask, this kit can also be used to create a non-wearable sculpture or bust. I used the previous version of my lizardman mask to make this Red Dragon Trophy Wall Mount - and you can use this updated mask blank to make something very similar if you wish!

Lizardman Resin Mask - Base Kit

The base kit is a set of raw resin-cast pieces, straight from the mold with no additional cleanup. You will need to do some work cutting out the eye sockets, vision holes and nose holes, removing any flashing left from the molding process, and sanding the raw edges down to smoothness. (Note that there are options below where I will cut, clean up, and even assemble the resin pieces for you.)

As you can see in the picture below, the areas beneath the eye sockets are the vision points, and they're very large on this mask. It was originally crafted for my husband who has trouble seeing out of normal masks. There is also ample room inside of the mask to wear glasses.

This mask fits up to a 24" head comfortably. If your cranial measurement or jaw is wider than average, it may not fit you. Please see the photograph showing the measurements to ensure this mask is a good fit for you.

This base kit includes the following:

There are several optional add-ons below you may choose to get along with this base mask kit.

Cleanup includes:

  • Cutting out vision points, nostrils, and eye sockets

Option - Glass Eyes

The standard mask comes with solid-cast eye plates that you can paint however you wish, but for a more realistic look, you can add in a pair of glass eyes instead. The solid-cast plates will be replaced with a hollow set that you can place the glass eyes into.

The glass eyes are made from 20mm domed glass cabochons. A variety of colors are available; see the chart below for your options (click to enlarge). Once you've added eyes as an option, you can choose the color and type you want from the lists that appear.

Black Mesh:
Black eye mesh for use in masks to see out of, but not be seen.

Option - See-Through Mesh

This option adds a 4" x 4" piece of black mesh fabric, which can be cut to size and used to cover the vision holes and nostril holes. The mesh appears black from outside (and can be painted), but you can see out of it easily. It's a bit like wearing sunglasses.

It also allows airflow into your mask through both the vision and nose holes, allowing for good ventilation.

Option - Horns

If you're going for the argonian look, this option adds a pair of blank 8", slightly curved horns that can be added to your mask's headpiece. The horns are cast hollow to keep the weight down (less than 3oz each). The base has a pebbled texture that resembles lizard scales.
