Did you miss the extra update on Christmas day? If so, make sure to go back a page!

Also, I MAY have done something silly with this week's voting incentive. Maybe. Just, you know, FYI. *whistles innocently*

Oh oh, and one more important announcement. Initially, we began updating on Tuesday because that lined up with Leezard and my anniversary. We've decided, however that it will actually be easier for us to update on Mondays. Therefore, look for the next page on January 4th instead of the 5th.

This concludes this public service announcement.

First....thing that i like about this page is the pondering look for panel 6. Also i can see that i must think like a dragon,
"Its extremely dangerous and powerful."
"Lets mess with it."

Some are more eager than others... dragons are not without their egos.

Stella (Dec 28th, 2009 at 7:39 pm)
Is the dragon planning to cast the spell as a test a desert dragon as well? He doesn't have the orange spines like Riavele. Otherwise they look really similar.
Yay for dragon democracy!

Urk....spambot above me. Not a good sign.
I have a feeling that this little experiment will not end well.

Nightlyre (Dec 29th, 2009 at 7:39 am)
Rawr, spambot death! We do keep a watch for them, and remove them as quickly as we can. I'm hoping not to have to add a Captcha or something similar to discourage them - seems like those things are more annoying than they're worth. But we shall see.
@Stella - Yes, good catch! They are both desert dragons, and Kiljahka and the reddish-brown fellow in the middle panel are both fire dragons. Age and different bloodlines make dragons of the same species look fairly different.

Why do I have the sudden urge to eat pancakes??

Umm ... and the Dragons absolutely refused to have any sort of early-warning rift plan, except for Keesa. Then they don't listen to her.
Oh, and if that dragon tries the minor spell, and gets posessed (secretly or not) then we all get to learn why they put the portal in a nice little forest rather than hidden at some vertical or horizontal corner of Eldlor.
*sigh* this is what they get for relying on learning their innate magic from their mother and absolutely refusing to go to school to learn anything else.

Yay!!! magic time! What's the harm they say, but personally I don't mess with ominous black one dimensional rips in the space time continuum. I just make it a rule. and it has not failed me yet.

Well you have to factor in the personality differences Nano. I mean take people like me, if i were to have magical abilities it wouldn't matter if i went to school or not i'm still going to use them to poke big shiny things every chance i get.

@Nightlyre - Part of the reason I noticed is I was looking at the dragons really closely to try and figure out how you make them look so realistic. As I've mentioned in the comments for the last page, I've been planning a story for 6 years with dragons in it. Originally I was going to make it into a series of novels, but I figured to put my art skills to good use. I have a pretty realistic art style, but people say my dragons look cartoony compared to the other stuff I draw. I've always had a soft spot for dragons, so I read quite a few comics with dragons in it. Yours is by far the best both in terms of plot and in terms of art.

Stella: Do you have any others to recommend? I enjoy Planes of Eldlor, but I'm always on the lookout for a new webcomic to read.

Stella (Jan 2nd, 2010 at 12:17 pm)
@Nemoricus - Hurrocks Fardel and Dreamland chronicles are two good ones. Sarah Ellerton is an incredible webcomic author/artist. I've been reading her since part way through her first story line: Inverloch. There was a link to her current one, Phoenix Requiem on the link page here.

They could still create dirt above the rift and let gravity do the rest.

Nemoricus (Jan 4th, 2010 at 7:07 am)
Thank you, Stella. I'll take a look at them.
