I'm a fan of many mythological creatures, but there's always been a special place in my heart for the noble griffon. (Or griffin, or gryphon, however you want to spell it.) Of course I was going to end up making one as a mask! This blank has a lot of detail on every feather, on the cere (the base of the beak), and on the beak itself. Of course, this mask can also be used as a phoenix, eagle, hawk, or a variety of other birds both real and imaginary.
I also took a little video of the process of demolding this mask from the original sculpture. Enjoy!
I occasionally have painted masks like this one available, and there are always blanks for you to paint up however you wish!
