Filbert the FrogGoyle

Filbert is a lazy old froggie, but I think he's darling just the same. It was raining here quite heavily a few days before I sculpted him, and every once in a while, a heavy rain here brings out a peculiar type of toad which sings all night long. So, having amphibians on the brain, I decided I needed to sculpt a froggoyle.

I'm not saying my brain makes sense. Perish the thought!

Filbert is made from a particular type of polymer clay with flecks of color in it that make it resemble granite. I also did some texturing on the surface and a wash of black acrylic to bring out the details, as well as some touches of mossy green.
